I don't think so, I remember the day it first came out I bought it and I kept getting kicked off of games since the servers where packed full of people. But some how by the next two days I got it. And I know I didn't play then all from th start to the end cause I kept getting kicked off. I just think you need to stay in the match until it's over and it counts like that. if you have played warzone (killzone multiplayer online) you will find battlefield basic. I know i did



I did like that battlefield is lighter and easy to see targets but that being said that sometimes is part of the negitive about it.



there are only 3 maps on battlefield and only one game type. (no assignation, retrieve etc)



I would go for the new maps myself but thats just me. or if you want another multiplayer online try warhawk, it hits all the marks but is a little steep on the intial learning curve (try the demo before you buy)



also the demo for 1943 is free give that a crak if you want

i dont like battelfeild 1943 it just seems so ps2 like the graphics are okay but the running engine and the controlles are just messed up. killzone is a really good game but i cant beleive a map pack is 20 bucks but i guess thats not a horrible price if its 6maps. in my opinion out of the two i would choose killzone if your a big fan of the killzone games if you want a sorta easy retro world war game then go for battlefield.Killzone 2 Map Pack or Battlefield: 1943 PS3?

To answer your questions I do not know what type of plane they used for it. There should be a sheet inside he case where the instruction booklet is. It will have a code on it. Go to account management and select redeem code. Put in the code and it will prompt you to download the game. This is of course if the game is brand new and not a used copy of Ultimate Edition.

Just found the answer! The reason it says you're not eligible is because of overflow in America. What you need to do is change it from U.S./English to Espanol. You'll need a translator. When it asks for where you are going to play it, select North America. I was flipping out at first thinking I was too young, so I found a website and it works! Good luck!

I have BFBC2 and BF1943. I play BF1943 10x more than BC2. If you like WWII games and flying planes, it is one of the greatest games for that.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a VERY good game. Awesome multiplayer, HUGE maps, great campaign, SUPERB graphics. Also the complete building destruction adds a layer of realism that no other game has. Many unlockable weapons as you rank up in each class. That is another thing I like. You can't camp as a sniper and get a ton of kills and unlock a LMG by doing it. You have to earn points in each class separately(Assault, engineer, medic, recon) to get the corresponding weapons. I highly reccomend this game to any FPS lover.Should I get bad company 2 or battlefield 1943?
I have bad company 2 for the ps3 and the pc. I haven't played battlefield 1943 or vietnam, but bad company 2 is pretty good. The campaign is okay, but the multiplayer is great. I love bc2 because of the destruction :D. But I would highly recommend getting Battlefield 3 when it comes out October 25th 2011, it's gonna be wayyyy better

Cod5 definetely. I have both. well had Cod5. %26amp; its much better. in BF, there are only 4 maps. well there were 3 at first. but if all the people who play it get certain thousand kills all together, they unlock a new map, which already happened. but yea its pretty hard to find anyone in it. COD 5 no doubt about it. Its still like $50 from gamestop but its worth every penny. I personally didn't like battlefield 1943 all that much. COD 5 is way funner and easier to get into.

Yeah, there is definitely voice chat. I heard it when playing the other day. I'm gonna guess you are on the PS3? Since the PS3 doesn't have a mic built in, there tends to be alot less chatting going on in the PS3 games.

I prefer Call Of Duty 4, but really if you want a good war shooter, wait for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 which is coming out in September I believe. If I were you I would wait another week until Battlefield Bad Company 2 comes out. But honestly I think you can get both Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 2 as they are both great games.



I can give you some info about Battlefield 1943:



The game takes place on 4 diffrent maps with 2 games modes, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, Wake Island and Coral Sea (only available on air superiority mode). You play as either the United States Marine Core (USMC) or the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) and fight against each other on one of 3 maps in a team-deathmatch/capure the base fashion. The math ends when one of the team's reinforcement count reaches 0 so every kill you get counts towards that bar. There are 3 classes to choose from. There is a sniper class, an assault rifle class and a rifleman class. You can play the game multiple ways, you can get in a plane and dogfight/bomb the other teams bases, you can drive around in a jeep and mow the enemy team down with its turret, you can cause havoc with a tank and of course control a deadly airstrike which can blow the enemy team halfway to hell. In Air Superiority mode you only control planes on the map called Coral Sea.



I think it is worth getting the game (but note your PSN/Xbox Live account has to say you are over 14 years old because EA is very picky with players ages) and it only costs $10-15/1200-800 microsoft points.Bad company or battlefield 1943?

Shoot if i were you I would perfer you hold on to your money for Battlefield Bad Company 2. But thats my opinion. Anyways as for you main ? I would prefer you get battlefield 1943 reason: Battlefield 1943 deliver great environments maps that are huge and can carry up to 24 players at once. There are several vehicles you can use ex: plane, bombers, tanks, cars ,boat etc. One big thing that is very nice about BF1943 is its SOUND effects and quality the sound capture in the game are so realistic is amazing making it almost like your in a real war. I get the who realistic feel when I'm in the tank and firing the cannon. As for the graphic it very good! but a little cartoonish but overall impressive the environment really responds well and buildings can be destroyed completely.



Now for BF Bad company its an alright game but I highly recommend you save that mula! for BF Bad Company 2 if you have not tried the demo yet you should! It Speaks for it's self!

I am ranked 50 and have played a few hundred games yet this happens to me sometimes too. No big deal though. Usually I just turn my Xbox off and then turn it back on and it works fine again. Try that out and if it doesn't work just don't play for a few hours. Always does the trick for me.

You need to download the demo and run it through there. Many PSN games do this, so rememeber it when you buy another game from there.

You're not looking at an important detail, it's only 15 bucks. I've heard they are going to try to add more maps and they already have air superiority. Besides, the main thing is that its a cheap game and is a darn good one for its price. It's even better than a lot of games that are around $60.

The Battlefield 1943 American fighter plane doesn't have any volume. Please help?

I bought Battlefield 1943 yesterday and everything was great but now when i get in the American fighter plane, there's no engine sound at all for it. Just the sound of wind. I can still hear the guns and bombs and other sound effects perfectly but not the engine. This was bothering me because i'm in a plane over 80% of the time that i play. The engine sound for the japanese plane is still normal, just not for the american plane.

It's not a glitch. They have done it deliberately to prevent any new gamers signing up for the time being. I downloaded yesterday and it took an hour to get into a game - the servers are massively overloaded and new gamers will only make it worse.

From what i know, battlefield 1943 is very popular and its always easy to find a game at the moment but i think bad company would have less people playing it so its harder to find a game

Battlefield 1943 for me in terms of graphics is better and much more vibrant and interesting than a rather dull looking bad company

Also price (拢10) for Battlefield 1943 and around (拢20) for bad company is a consideration as bad company has a single player which is good and 8+ online maps and 2+ game modes, whereas battlefield 1943 has 4 maps and 2 game modes to choose from but no single player



In my opinion battlefield 1943 is the best online experience at this moment as its solid and never seems to lack fun, and its built for online making it a great game to have

Battlefield bad company is also very good and both games will offer you a lot of play time, but it highly depends on what you wan't

You have to download the demo and the full game unlock, when you bought it it should have told you if you wanted to download it.

If not go back and click the game and go to download.
you don't need to download the beta to download it just go back to where you purchased it and re-download it. i downloaded it and it worked the first time.

If i were you, i would totally buy it. You can download it off of live, so you don't even have to change the disk, and there are still lots of people playing it. I'm a huge fan of Battlefield, so it depends on why you didn't play bad Company that much. If you got Bad Company for that little, it may have been later in the games life cycle, meaning less people in general, and those that stuck around were *really* good. So early on in 1943, you are going to be playing against folks who aren't as skilled.



It is still the fast type game play, but instead of having to destroy boxes, you go back and forth trying to take and hold onto bases, and those bases in turn act as spawn points for the team holding it. So less an "attacker"/"defender" thing. You are pretty much always the attacker.



This game adds planes that you can fly, and there is no longer a commander throwing down air strikes, so less frustrating in that case.



I personally think the game is worth $15, but again, it depends on why you didn't play Bad Company that much.
