You got the noose tanks, cool cars such as the bullet, of course the clubs, (you can only go into Bahamas mamas in one misson. Unless in multiplayer. Find one of the small concrete bunkers with a rotating radar dish ontop. You can enter it with the "Enter Vehicle" button on your Xbox/PS3 controller. There was a post on L_Twin's twitter saying he wants to get some DLC out but DICE have since denied this and it is clearly not a priority. They're spending minimal time fixing the bugs and glitches, let alone making new stuff, as they're all concentrating on BFBC2 now.

Not really, especially with Battlefield 3 Out. My friend tried to play over the summer and while he was able to find a server, there was only like 3-4 people in the game which is really dumb in battlefield games because most of the fun comes from having alot of people. battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a fantastic fps! The AI is decent not the best but it is still good. The graphics well let's just say that i felt the bullet go into me by a sniper. though some levels are very frustrating. The level design is great you really feel like your there. Battlefield is where base-capture hit it big. Battlefield 1943 is basically a mod built on their engine. Probably just a few new maps, characters, guns and vehicles plugged into Frostbite.
I've played the demo and I'm considering getting it. It was pretty much run of the mill base-capture, nothing really any different, except for one thing: the planes. You fly either a Zero or a F4 Corsair, and while it's no simulation, it's more real than most games do planes. In particular you have pitch, roll and yaw, and you have to carefully manage your rpm or you'll lose altitude and crash. And you pretty much have to use genuine dive-bombing methods to be accurate.
In real life, the F4 was no match for any of the zeros, but a video game has to have the sides evenly matched.
For $15 it's a worthy game even though it's just a mod.
I heard there's been troubles getting into servers, but I didn't have any trouble.
The map of Wake Island is a joke as far as realism, the real Wake Island has a runway going down almost the whole island.What do you think of Battlefield 1943?

How do you call in an air strike in Battlefield 1943 for ps3?
You will need to go to the air raid bunker, there is one in every map apart from coral sea
it is a grey pyramid with a black dish on top
in guadalcanal it is located in the capture point on the edge of the map (opposite the one to the airfield)
In wake island it is near the hanger in the airfield
In iwo-jima it is near the hanger in the airfield
it will usually tell you at the top of the screen if it is available or not, if it is the light on top will be shining white, if there is someone inside it, it will be shining yellow, if it is not available it will be unlit

Just remember with 1943 its only an online multiplayer game, where as Battlefield has the solo campaign, if i had to choose, personally i would have 1943.Should i buy battlefield 1943 or bad company?

No unfortunately there isn't. It's because it started as a little game for the staff to play between them and then they decided it was good enough to show the public. So there probably wont be any DLC's for it only the community unlock where the whole community gets 43 million kills. The reason is probably that their busy doing all the development for Battlefield:Bad Company 2.

BF1943 demo only has one map: Wake island. Its not the best map and you have a limited amount of time playing it but I would definitely get the full game its worth it. Games are fun, and 1943 is probably awesome (haven't played it), but eh, you're 12. I don't think you're missing anything, really. Read a book, spend more time doing things that you'll actually remember and appreciate later on, instead of in front of a screen playing games that will only shorten your attention span. Game time needs to be moderated, otherwise it will get too addictive, no matter how old you are or how responsible a student you are. Respect your mom and find something else to do instead for now. When she lets you play finally, say thank you, and play responsibly.
If you're dying for a good computer game but you're not allowed to play shooters, why not try strategy games? Rome: Total War is awesome even now that it's 5 years old, and mods are still coming out for it. It's exciting, fairly easy to learn, but very deep. Plus if you pay attention to it, you'll learn a few things about history, which is always great. :)

Yeah since it is new and an arcade game it will only have a few servers but since everyone is purchasing it and it is becoming an arcade hit it tends to not allow everyone to get in a game. Once they update the game with more servers then you should be fine.

This game is basiclly battlefield 1942 but using the battlefield bad company engine. Its GREAT fun, a reasonably small game but will still entertain for hours on end...believe me...the maps are smaller than 1942 so that players areN'T searching for each other for hours, it works better now.
I have experienced no lag issues at all, i dont think its a private server system. The only problem i had was that (its only happened twice) ive joined a game and only had 3 people on my team and the other team had 10 people. It was strange and continued like this well into the game. Some people joined and evened it up in both occassions though.Is Battlefield 1943 for the PS3 a good game?

Is battlefield 1943 a good game for the ps3?

I own it for the xbox 360, And it is a very fun game, despite 3 battle maps (Plus 1 dog fight map, 4 maps total)

There are tanks, Jeeps, and 2 different Prop planes the F4u Corsair and the Japanese Zero which make for awesome dogfights plus there is a game mode where it is up to 24 planes flying and its just a battle for air superiority which is really fun...
The graphics are better than alot of disc based games and the sound quality is awesome as well, top all that off with destructible environments and you got yourself one hell of a game!!!!!
There are only 3 maps and will never be a map pack, this game was created to keep Battlefield fans busy while they waited for BattleField Bad Company 2 to release but its still a fun game and I still play it and so do alot of other people.
And to answer your last question YES! Battlefield is a war simulator and there are very skilled players who play it...

The graphics are better than alot of disc based games and the sound quality is awesome as well, top all that off with destructible environments and you got yourself one hell of a game!!!!!
There are only 3 maps and will never be a map pack, this game was created to keep Battlefield fans busy while they waited for BattleField Bad Company 2 to release but its still a fun game and I still play it and so do alot of other people.
And to answer your last question YES! Battlefield is a war simulator and there are very skilled players who play it...

1943 will have 3 maps (at release), it's only multiplayer, and based upon the new bad company engine. The gameplay and graphics look incredible. I cant wait for it myself. Then later this year, BC 2 will be out.

but yeah. if it happens on both your xbox and your computer, its undoubtedly your connection. wire it if you're using wireless now, or try moving your systems closer to your router. otherwise, you'll have to upgrade your service and whatnot.
